Active ISP the European ISP has today rebranded as Active 24, the new Active 24 group has coverage in 12 European countries and covers Virtual Internet in the UK.
"The re-naming and re-branding process will give Active 24 a united brand and visual identity in all the European markets in which it operates," says Active 24 CEO Anders Eriksson. "The Active 24 re-branding will provide us with a competitive advantage as one of the very few Web hosting providers with a powerful single brand across Europe."
In the UK Virtual Internet focuses on high end, high availability hosting solutions and is going to use the Active 24 brand change to offer shared hosting solutions for smaller businesses and entry level products. We need to see just how competitive these solutions will be in an already saturated marketplace.
The set up of a Pan European hosting company provides many opportunities in realtion to the European free market but may provide some difficulties for those organisations using IP based localised delivery.
Virtual Internet will not be dropping their high end products and will continue to service clients requiring highly technical solutions, such as Time Out and Music Solutions
